Homecoming dates

Well, my homecoming dance is a week from tomorrow. And there are two guys who I wanted to go with. Problem is that I asked one, and he already had one and the other one I asked if he was going to the dance, and he said he didn't know. Now, what do I do? I am planning to go by myself, or with friends, but it would really be nice to go to the dance with, you know, someone.
But who would ask me? I am the new kid. The only people who know how inncoent and how wild I can get are the marching band members. And which one of those would ask me? No of them...that's who. Well, I'll just buy my ticket on Monday and pray to God that someone will ask me. But all those thoughts will be in vain. Because who, who would ask me to homecoming????
