Darn Technology

It is amazing how much people rely on technology these days. For example, all my teachers put their sylibus's ( I know that it is spelled wrong), lesson plans, and homework online. However, today, my battery was low, I think that it still is, and I couldn't access "Blackboard" and my family's computer wasn't loading the site. God, I got really, really angry.
Why do we rely and put all of our assignments on computers, even though we know they aren't all that reliable? Sometimes, it just doesn't make any sense. I mean, they can be handy and all, but sometimes, they can be such a headache.
