Yesterday's Homecoming--awkward, ghetto, but totally worth $15

By awkward, I mean that I went to my first homecoming dance without a date. By ghetto, I mean that I went to a taco bell with J for homecoming dinner. And by totally worth it, I really mean it. It was freakin' awsome.
To begin the awesome night, I was picked up by J's dad and we went to Taco Bell, where we ate and talked about band while other people watched us. She was in a random sweater on top of her dress and I was wearing a large jacket over mine.
Then, we werer picked up and went to the school. From 8 to 9, we walked around randomly and met band people.
Then, at 9 the danceing started and I really didn't dance until about 10, when I danced with one of the guys from marching band. J told me that I could just ask some guy randomly to dance. And so I did.
I asked a guy from my World History class and my confirmation class at church. And the slow dance that I danced with himwas played at my dance last year. It made me miss my Florida friends, but the guy, G, just talked with me about moving and band, sonce his younger brother is in marching band with me.
Oh, by the way, WE LOST OUR HOMECOMING GAME. Oh, my Gosh, people were soooo angry.
But that didn't change anything when the dance came.
